We hired SWF to do an inspection on our new construction build in Parrish FL. Our inspector, Bryan R., was at the property busy at work before we even arrived. Bryan was very knowledgeable and professional and had good communication skills. While Bryan was doing his inspection, I did my own inspection and we compared findings when we were both complete. He issued a thorough report within a few hours of the inspection. Even though we were inspecting new construction, I believe it was money well spent for a professional. Bryan found items that I missed and it’s better to address findings with the builder prior to closing.

Our realtor put us in touch with SWF Home Inspections. I’m from Ohio and have had bad experiences with home inspectors. But that has all changed when SWF sent Bill C. to inspect a home that I might purchase. Bill was very professional by checking all areas of the house and documented each room. He checked out the roof, skylight and gutters. Bill took pictures of any suspicious areas, moisture meter readings and arrows pointing to the exact areas of concern. I received a full 22 page report by late afternoon.

I specifically ask Bill to check out a screened in porch. He crawled under the porch and noted some areas of concern with pictures and documentation.

When I emailed Bill about another certain area, he called me to discus. He is going back to the property on a Saturday to verify a question I had and will update his report.

I am very happy with SWF and would highly recommend them.

Cory responded quickly to our new Florida home after Hurricane Ian. We were in the process of closing on the home when Ian struck. As we live in Michigan, Cory was our ‘eyes and ears’ to let us know of any damage that had occurred and recommended repairs that needed to be done. We felt we needed an independent inspector from the builder. His inspection report was very detailed and precise and highly recommend him and his company.

Our inspector, Dave Marvel, was on time, personable, friendly and VERY THOUROUGH! I would definitely recommend SWF for proper home inspections. The only additional thing that would have been helped Dave would have bee. the use of a drone for checking the roof tiles/shingles. We were able to view had our final inspection report shortly after he left our home, once payment was made.

On time, focused, thorough, knowledgeable, and articulate…what more could you want in a home inspector? We had a tiny 1000 sq ft casita, only 2 years old, so the inspection went quickly and easily. He still found things wrong like a garbage disposal that was frozen, and other minor items (sprinkler system with a leak). Like I said…thorough. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

This inspection saved me $40,000 on roof repairs. This was a great inspection. The inspector was informative, and detailed. I would recommend them to anyone. And make sure you get all the needed ancillary inspections such as pool leak detection. It saved me a lot of money as well! SWF did a home inspection on the house we are buying. I have renovated several houses so I have a good knowledge of construction. I feel that SWF did a excellent job on the inspection. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

Use them frequently for resale home inspection. Always on time, very thorough, fit me in even when I need a quick turn-around and my clients love the 18 month extended home warranty (same/less than most 12 month). Also appreciate way the report is prepared as they are able to “triage”, or distinguish between urgent and “honey do” later.
